List of Awardees

City Literary Awards 2024 - Awards Presentation Ceremony was successfully held on 14 December 2024. We sincerely thank Professor WAN Tze-Kin Alan, Associate Provost (Academic Affairs) at CityUHK, and Professor HO Tat Kei Alfred, Dean of CLASS at CityUHK, as the officiating guests for the ceremony.

A total of 934 entries were received for the competition this year. 324 entries were from tertiary students, while 142 secondary schools nominated their students to enter the competition (a maximum of five outstanding works for each genre from each secondary school). At the ceremony, the champions of each category shared their writing experience and heartfelt feelings about winning the award. Representatives of the judges also shared their creative writing experience and offered advice to the young writers, which received enthusiastic responses from the audience. We look forward to seeing you again at City Literary Awards 2026. We hope that students will keep the flame of literary creativity alive and Hong Kong literature will be passed down from generation to generation.
